Description
3D model of а caboose PSC ARR No1093
About the prototype:
In 1970, the Canadian National Railways (CN) gave the Pointe St.Charles workshop (Montreal) an order to build 548 cabooses. Over time, under the pressure of technological progress, the role of cabooses in the functioning of the railway decreased and Canadian National began to gradually get rid of them.
The three cabooses were sold to Alaska RailRoad Corporation in 2000.They were assigned personal numbers 1091, 1092, 1093. Perhaps these are wagons that were previously in the ‘International Service’, as they have already been modified to FRA standards. They were sent to the CEECO workshop in Tacoma to be adjusted to AAR standards before being shipped to Alaska. In the fall of 2000, the cabooses were already in Alaska.
The caboose is made of metal, glass, wood.
