About the prototype:
The Native American pipe tomahawk of the Western Cheyenne tribe of North American Indians, dated circa 1870. A very large fightind tomahawk has a large trapezoidal flat blade and a pipe bowl made by a blacksmith from a gun barrel. The haft is made of local wood, has a brass snare wire at the head of the tomahawk, as well as two wraps of tanned hide fixed with round brass tacks. This tomahawk is a museum piece.
The tomahawk is made of iron, wood, brass, tanned leather.
