Description
3D model of the axe british Indian Trade Pipe Tomahawk 1840
About the prototype:
The British axe - pipe tomahawk for trade, dated 1840. The axe was made by the British for the early fur trade along the upper Missouri River with the native people of the North American plains. The blade of the axe is decorated with a circular pattern around the eye that is made in the traditional Native American way of stippling - spot engraving on the metal, as well as diamond-shaped notches. The tomahawk has a tall bowl for tobacco and a hollow handle that acts as a smoking pipe. This axe is a museum piece.
The trade axe is made of iron and wood.
