About the prototype:
The portable stereo cassette magnitola Oreanda RM-203S (late version) includes a cassette deck for recording and playing phonograms on audio cassettes, as well as a radio receiver that operates in the ranges of long waves (LW), medium waves (MW), short waves (HF - the range is divided into 4 subband) and ultrashort waves (VHF). The magnitola is equipped with a device for expanding the stereo base and noise reduction, automatic adjustment of the recording level, auto-stop, auto search for phonograms by pauses, and also has the ability to connect external speakers and stereo phones. At the top there are knobs for settings and regulators, as well as a retractable handle for easy movement of the magnitola and a retractable antenna. On the front there are one microphone and two speakers, an arrow indicator of the battery level and charge, a block of light indicators for search, mains power and stereo reception, a radio band table and a vanier, a cassette deck, a magnetic tape counter. On the right side panel there is the radio tuning knob. Headphone and external speaker outputs are located on the left side panel. The magnitola has been produced since 1985 by the Simferopol factory "Fiolent" and is suitable for residential interiors made in the style of the USSR era, contemporary, as well as in other retro and mixed stylistic directions.
The magnitola is made of plastic, metal.
